Notes: Newton-le-Willows A.A. control approx 1.25 miles of this up and coming little river downstream of Penkford Bridge. It has some nice glides for trotting with a stick float and some nice fast riffles for feeder fishing. There are shallow and deep holes, overhanging trees and vegetation for holding fish. There are some chub of 3lbs average, roach over the pound, barbel up to 4lbs, dace etc. Travel light so you can move around from swim to swim.
