hi can anyone tell me if senior matches are pole only or can you use rod im going to have more time on my hands soon so more fishing would like to fish some matches but only used to rod not a big fan of the pole or any matches that I can use a rod thanks the newsenior

Most matches are pole or rod. There are a few pole masters and opens during the year, but on the whole the choice is yours. Certainly the Havannah Flash matches are your choice.
A bad day's fishing is still 100% better than a good day at work.

The only time our matches are pole only is when during the summer we get a higher turn out on the disabled matches and those venues wouldn't support everyone on tip.and of course the Sankey canal pole masters open match.
Your welcome to use your rod 99 per cent of the time.
