The Newton le Willows A Asc National Team Fundraiser open Sweepstake, (20 pegs) Sankney Canal. Upper pound, Sunday 10-11-19.

1. Dennis Peterson (Ray's Tackle), peg 4, 4-5-12, roach and perch on pole and pinkie

2. Mark Brown (Newton-le-Willows AA), peg 1, 3-12-0, roach and perch on pole and pinkie

3. Chris Grehan (Warrington), peg 5, 2-6-8, roach and perch on pole and pinkie

4. John Wardley (Walkden), peg 14, 2-6-0, roach and perch on pole and pinkie

The Disabled & Over Sixties Weekly Members Match, White Door Dam, (20 pegs).

Beech Pool,

1st Paul Hill, (Widnes) peg 24 with carp and skimmers to tip and worm for 17-15-0.

2nd Dave Boyle (Newton le W) peg 2, with carp and skimmers to pole and worm for 6-15-0.

3rd Eddie Cook, (Warrington) peg 27 with skimmers and roach to pole and pellet for 2-3-0.

The cold nights and hail stone mixed with the Northerly winds played havoc with sport in todays match, everyone was scratching for bites,
